Liability, Section 914 of the Civil Code, is any illegal action or omission which damages the other. Therefore, anyone who harms the other illegally and is liable is obliged to compensate him.
We all know that the person who causes a harm to his fellow man is obliged, morally and legally, to compensate him. This obligation is known as civil liability vis-à-vis third parties. The civil liability insurance policy protects and covers the policyholder from the consequences of his actions or omissions by negligence, which result in damage to a third party.
The damage caused may be:
- Third party property, in which case we refer to material damage
- To a third person, in which case we are referring to physical injury or loss of life.
PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE
Professional civil liability insurance relates to the breach of duty. It covers any amount that a natural or legal person will be legally obliged to pay as compensation including costs and expenses of the applicant as a result of any claim or claims made against him, an official or a manager due to his negligence, error or omission, during or in the exercise of his business.
It is possible to cover any profession after consent.
