!!! Coverage of civil liability is mandatory under European legislation
By Law 3844/2010, Greek legislation was harmonised with European law. It obliges the technician to be insured for any omissions or errors by negligence, in the performance of the work of the project, the design or study of the project or by the defective product.
The Legal Framework for the Technical Professions is defined by the following Presidential Decrees.

Insured: Each individual electrician/plumber/refrigerant, working as a freelancer, who employs up to 2 assistants.
Extent of coverage: The Civil Liability of the insured professional is covered for damages (personal injury/ death and/ or property damage) as a result of an accident that may be caused to third parties, at his fault for third party claims due to accidents due to acts or omissions resulting directly and exclusively from the installation, maintenance and repair work undertaken by the insured person.
Third parties are considered for the present and the premises of the individual customer of the insured.
