TRANSPORT INSURANCE
Insure imports – exports or the internal movement of your goods against risks agreed on a case-by-case basis and based on the standard, internationally accepted clauses of the London Institute of Insurance, InstituteCargoClauses A, B or C, as well as the civil liability of the freight forwarder.
Institute Cargo Clause (A)
This Clause covers your loss or damage from any damage that is not nominally excluded.
Institute Cargo Clause (B)
This Clause covers your loss or damage from:
- Fire or explosion
- Stranding, impact, sinking or overturning of the ship or floating medium
- Overturning or derailing the land transport
- Collision or contact of the ship, floating medium or vehicle with any external object other than water
- Unloading the cargo at a distress port
- General weightlessness
- Disposal of goods at sea or snatching them from waves
- Earthquake, volcanic eruption or lightning
- Entry of water into the ship or a means of transport, container, wood box or storage area
- Total loss of package lost at sea or fallen during loading
Institute Cargo Clause (C)
This Clause covers your loss or damage from:
- Fire or explosion
- Stranding, impact, sinking or overturning of the ship or floating medium
- Overturning or derailing the land transport
- Collision or contact of the ship, floating medium or vehicle
- Unloading the cargo at a distress port
- General weightlessness
- Disposal of goods at sea
Carrier Liability Insurance
It covers the Freight Forwarder for damage or loss that may occur to the goods of third parties for which it has undertaken to complete its transfer from one place to another.
